What is Seniors Fitness?

~Most people know that regular physical activity is good for your health. But you don't have to exercise at a vigorous level to achieve health benefits. To help, the Heart Foundation has developed a low-to-moderate intensity exercise program called Heartmoves, designed for people who are living with health conditions.

 

How Heartmoves can help you?

Taking part in regular Heartmoves sessions can help:

~ Lower blood pressure,
~ Improve cholesterol control,
~ Manage weight,
~ Improve well being and quality of life,
~ Manage diabetes,
~ Improve balance and flexibility,
~ Improve sleep,
~ Improve bone mineral density with arthritis management, and prevent falls and injuries from falls.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED


~ A towel
~ Water bottle
~ Comfortable clothing
~ Sand shoes (Joggers) .
