The Sandgate PCYC was opened on the 26th December 1981 to its new premises after a number of moves since its inception on the 3rd July 1977.  Since then, the PCYC has gone from strength to strength, and in 2009 had a membership in excess of 1300 patrons.  The PCYC continues to make a positive contribution to the future of countless young residents of the Sandgate and Bayside communities by providing ongoing programs and activities.

The Sandgate PCYC is a not-for-profit organisation, incorporated in Queensland and is registered for GST (ABN 58 009 666 193).  Like many self funded organisations, the Sandgate PCYC is a registered charitable organisation, and therefore all financial gifts of $2.00 and over are tax deductible.
